Mickey Mercer was created from the world of Hunger in 1989, when going to the disco was part of a new generation’s social life. His music captures the sound of those nights — the dancing, the parties, and the excitement of young people discovering a changing world. “Show Me Some Love” recreates the upbeat pop and disco sound that surrounded Beáta and her friends as they went out, danced and enjoyed the nightlife of the late 1980s.
