The Crows were created from the musical world of Silvester, one of the characters in Hunger. Silvester is drawn to the forbidden rock music of the West — particularly the darker, psychedelic sounds coming from America in the 1970s. Through him, Beáta discovers this music for the first time. The Crows recreate that sound: mysterious, rebellious and almost magical to someone growing up behind the Iron Curtain.
